Most of the main roads across the region are in really good condition, parking near the beaches is usually easy, and fuel prices stay quite reasonable compared to other coastal areas. If you’re driving for the first time here, keep your ID, driving license, and rental agreement with you Spanish police sometimes do quick checks near tourist routes, but it’s all routine. Locals are friendly drivers, but we always suggest taking it slow around small villages or beach roads where people walk along the sides.
